At Trillium School’s childcare facility in Markham, our teachers and caregivers provide the love and attention all little ones need while always keeping their individual interests top of mind. Within a structured, safe and nurturing environment, our children engage in fun activities suited to their age, interests and energy level. Wide-open spaces, interactive areas, intellectually-stimulating toys and a home-like environment all help to develop the children’s social skills and cognitive abilities.
Every day is fun-filled at our childcare centre. In addition to the regular components of the program, children also engage regularly in new activities, such as board games, outdoor sports, computer and music sessions, field trips, and the like.
Our childcare program offers a superior early learning environment for young children. It also forms the first stage in our Complete Trillium Educational Experience. Each stage builds upon the skills, aptitudes, values and experiences of the previous stages. By the time a student progresses through our entire school program they will possess the confidence, character, work habits and skills needed to flourish in the next stage of their academic journey.
At Trillium School, in addition to offering a strong academic program to students, a great deal of emphasis is also placed on extracurricular activities. That’s why our school building features:

Trillium School offers a perfect environment of warmth and care where young children can adjust at their own pace. Teachers provide gentle guidance, familiar routines, and plenty of attention, helping children feel safe, comfortable, and confident as they get used to the classroom.
Children take part in age-appropriate activities that support learning, movement, creativity, and play. Their day may include group play, outdoor time, music, computer sessions, board games, and other hands-on experiences that keep them engaged without feeling pressured.
The program gives children regular opportunities to play, share, talk, listen, and work with others. Through group activities and guided interactions, they begin learning friendship skills, teamwork, patience, and confidence in a natural, child-friendly way.
Play is a big part of the day, but it is also used to build early learning habits. Children develop social, cognitive, personal, and character skills that help them become more independent and ready for the next stage of school.
The school setting gives students access to caring teachers, structured routines, open spaces, interactive areas, and learning materials designed for young children. It gives them room to move, explore, make friends, and grow while staying in a safe and supportive environment.
We’re delighted to welcome you to Trillium School Montessori. We can’t wait to meet you and your family!
